In December 1998 the
International Network for Economic Research INFER
was founded due to my innitative. Since then I am the chairman of INFER.

INFER is a private charitable organisation to stimulate the scientific discourse between international economists from different institutions and fields of research, to strenghten the contact between economic scienes and applied economics and to communicate scientific knowledge to the interested public.

Therefore, we

• publish INFER-Discussion Papers, INFER Research Reports, INFER Studies und INFER Research Edition,
• organise Annual Conferences,
• and Workshops,
• established an economic newsgroup,
• and offer the possibility to found Working Groups
